This place is the vibe! Been wanting to visit since everyone is talking about it. As we stepped in, a glass of champagne poured for us feeling like VIPs. Loved how it was decorated inside. Lights were dimmed for a more intimate setting. Appalled with outstanding service given at the bar. My friend and I ordered the brussels sprouts as an appetizer. Full of flavors with an outside crunch! One of the best I have ever tried. House margaritas were fire very refreshing quenching our thirst. Heard this spot is popping for the night club after certain hour, but sadly to say we had left before it began. Until next time will definitely stay for some dancing. Fun environment for a girls night out!

Nice ambience. Will def come back again. Great drinks and food. A lil pricey and over crowded.

Came here on a Thursday and it was busy! It's hard to find spots during the week that will be upbeat but we have found it at Mesa. The drinks were delicious and very cute. Didn't get a picture but we had the fries and sliders both were good. The music is R N B and hip hop. Mesa starts really going off about 10pm. We left about that time and the line was already going past the building. They also have valet for $20 right at the entrance.

This review was supposed to be for the 80s bar in fullerton. So I dont know how this ended up here.

I've been here 10 years ago and had a great time then. Decided to do our girls dinner here this past Friday night and had a fabulous time. I made reservations online and arrived right at 8pm. Hostess were friendly and very helpful. My 2 friends were late and I was still able y get seated right away, love that about Mesa. The restaurant is still just as trendy and beautiful as I remembered. Our waitress was lovely, attentive and friendly. Our dinners were delicious except my salmon was a bit too salty for me. The lychee martinis were AMAZING just as I remembered. Enjoyable night out with my girlfriends, still highly recommend if you haven't been. They have valet for $20 or public parking available. Valet is always the way to go for me. FYI, you need your ID to get in even if you're just there for dinner because it turns into a club at 10pm.

The live music was a vibe and current. The musicians were very talented. The customers service was top notch. Tried the three course me and the food was delicious and fresh.

This place mustve been around for ages! I remember when I was little I would hear my cousins talking about meeting at mesa or a night at mesa. And even my mom attended frequently as well. Now that I'm finally legal, I had to see what the hype was about. What I didn't realize is that they would arrive later at night when the clubbing portion starts. My friend and I made reservations for a dinner and was surprised to see it empty! Little did we know it's a hotspot but later in the night. We enjoyed an empty restaurant tbh. The girls working all look so beautiful and were all so incredibly sweet. The food was delicious, the one thing that caught my eye was the Mediterranean board! It includes 3 different kinds of hummus, quinoa salad, pita bread, abd a variety of pickles and olives! I definitely recommend coming for the food if you havent tried it! I will definitely be coming back for the night vibes!

Ambiance is great, and food is tasty. Small menu but worth every bite. Dj around 10 and it's a fun time! The charcuterie board was great and so was the sashimi. Very lively, only down part is parking is pretty hard but there is valet. It's a little hidden gem in a way. Staff are nice, was greeted with complimentary champagne, and was seated quickly close to my reservation time. Definitely would come back, feels like a little piece of LA In the OC.

Mesa is a bar located in downtown Costa Mesa just behind John Wayne Airport. There's a parking lot with self-parking or valet parking; there's also street parking in the area. When we walked in we were greeted with complimentary rosé. You can make reservations online but the bar is open seating. The interior was pretty interesting with three different sections and vibes. On one side is a restaurant with tables, the middle is the bar with bar seats and a countertop, and the other side is a lounge-y area surrounding a giant tree. My first drink was the monte carlo ($18) which was very good and like an old fashioned. My second drink was the lavender haze ($18) which was like a cross between a gold rush and a whiskey sour. We also ordered the hand cut fries ($10) which were good; they also had an option for thick cut fries if you prefer those. Later on in the night, the bar area turned into standing room only and it became sort of a club. When we left we saw a line out the door to get in so this bar has all the vibes you might want. I really enjoyed the atmosphere and this is a great place for a night out.

Classy and fun lounge in Costa Mesa! We had Galentine's here for a group of 11. Mesa can accommodate large parties but make sure to make a reservation. Parking was a bust. Busy lot shared by The Camp which is a small mall. Valet service was $20 but he was so nice and parked my car right out front. Said I can leave my car overnight if I got too tipsy. That was a nice touch, I thought. Headed inside and I was given a glass of champagne to sip on while I found my friends. The venue is SO NICE. The interior design was well thought out. Decors, vibes, and staff, set the mood for a great night. The drinks are about $16-$27 each. We tried lychee martini, different margaritas: cucumber, spicy, illegal mezcal. All were deliciously creeping up on us. Ordered a bunch of appetizers: pizzas, calamari, meatballs, Mediterranean board, sliders, fries. Everything was good. My favorite were the sliders! Get the sliders. After about 2 hours, the place turned into a club/lounge and lots of groups ordered bottled service which was brought out by the girls. DJ played good music, mainly hip hop and R&B. The place gets crowded but it's heavily managed by security to keep walkways clear which is good so people aren't just crowding around. Dance floor is nonexistent except a small area by the DJ booth. The restrooms are so nice and luxe too. Great experience overall, I'd come back. Excellent place for date night or hanging out with your girls.
